So it begins...

I've been thinking about starting this blog for a little while now. Ever since I was introduced to blogging through a group I am involved in right now, I've been thinking about how it would be nice to share daily events that occur here on the home front with family and friends. I know the trick of this thing will be to actually put pen to paper so to speak. I take lots of pictures, but I've never been good at journaling. I can't figure out why -- I love the results, looking back at what you were thinking/feeling at some particular point in time is fascinating. I guess its the romance of keeping a diary I really like, and not the daily excercise. Anyway, couple of things that I hope make it different this time. It seems very quick & easy to jot a note when the notion hits. Also, every day is a discovery with Jacob & I just want to capture every minute to show all of you. I know I can't capture EVERY minute, but I can try for the high points. This summer is one of discovery. Every day Jacob and I are on the hunt for new things to explore and experience. Seeing the world through the eyes of a toddler is such a fun thing to do! I highly recommend it. I hope to capture some of the stories & tails that come our way over the days and weeks to come. Hopefully, I'll stay with it long enough to sit back on Labor Day & say yeah - that was a good idea! We'll talk again soon.
